2. Spend less time in the sun
Even though tanned skin looks attractive it is not that healthy. In the past, Chinese people considered white skin to be a feature of high social status. Now, in present times Chinese women consider sunscreen to be very effective in preventing early skin aging.
3. Tea replaces other drinks really well
As we previously mentioned, Chinese women try to stay hydrated as much as they can, so they drink plenty of fluids including tea. Some of the types of tea that experts recommend are astragalus flower tea, jasmine tea, pu-erh, red tea with Goji, oolong and others.
4. Plan your day
Having an established day routine is very important in China. Women particularly are very careful when it comes to their meal or sleep times. They also try to take a nap after lunch even at their workplace. Students often go to libraries for a quick power nap.
5. It’s better to avoid high-calorie desserts
Chinese cuisine is much different from Western cuisine. Their desserts rarely contain sugar and while in other countries people finish their meals with desserts, Chinese people rather eat desserts separately or in the middle of a course.
6. Seaweed is important part of their diet
Seaweed absorbs excessive salt and speeds up the metabolism which is why Chinese women love eating it. It also contains fiber that provides a longer feeling of satiety which is a great choice for those who want to lose some weight. Seaweed is also rich in chlorophyll and vitamins that keep the skin looking youthful and healthy. The protein in seaweed also helps slow down the aging process.
7. Keep calm
The lack of expressing their emotions through their face is another contributing factor to the youthful appearance of Chinese women. That way they minimize the appearance of wrinkles and also learn how to control and contain their emotions which is good for their mental health as well.
8. Use certain makeup products
Even though they use skincare products, Chinese women always choose those products that were made only from natural ingredients. Some of those ingredients include natural oils, pearl powder, ginseng, medicinal herb extracts and seaweed. These ingredients are sure to make your skin smooth and youthful without harming your health.
9. Foot acupressure
As we previously mentioned, Chinese women take care of their overall health, not just their appearance. Foot acupressure is a common practice in China. They regularly massage the female beauty points called San Yin Jiao. These points are located inside of the lower part of the leg, four finger widths above the highest point of your ankle.
10. Everyday massage using a jade roller
Jade rollers help improve the blood flow in the face. In the past, Chinese women used two different gadgets. One roller was used for acupuncture massage and another, flat one, was used to release tension in facial muscles. You can find these rollers online easily.
